Hey Guys,

I have been messing around in LF for a number of years, with ARGO, Spectran
Spectrum LAB, etc.
So finally I decided to give WSPR a try. I am still brand new to it but
what a fantastic program!!
It's like a dream come true, with the online database, maps and filtering.
Thank you Joe Taylor!!!!

My receiver is a Harris RF 590 and I am using a triangle loop 10 feet on a
side.

Here is the problem I am having. I notice that most of the stations copied
(3 so far) always seem to have a space of 2 minutes where they either fade
out or the transmitter is off.
But its always 2 minutes long, which leads me to believe that this must be a
function of the program?

Tonight I see a new signal and it prints out as WE6XGR very strong signal
here always a + SNR but at the same time I seem to have lost the other
stations that were being copied.
I am not sure what is going on but can someone please help me with whatever
adjustment I need to make eliminate this problem

My RX noise is level is consistently at 0 to +3 or so... Do I need to lower
it?

Also there are "sidebands" for the lack of a better term that land at +/- 10
hz on either side of the signal.
Another peculiarity is that the WE6XGR signal does not seem to have any of
the those 2 minute long holes like the other signals, its just one
continuous line.

Sorry for all the questions guys from a newbie.

Thank you for any help
