Hi All: MP on Wed afternoon overloading the ARGO waterfall at 30dB out of the noise peak

And EAR about 11~12dB out of the noise on Tue afternoon with some HVAC modulation (radios near basement furnace) on the Heath HD-1420 converter.

I recall W4UCH had a simple proportional temperature control circuit for a DIY crystal heater in his Gunnplexer Cookbook with some back-to-back PNP transistors and a diode sensor.  I may try have to give it a try on the LO crystal in the HD-1420.....

Bit's and Pieces of TAG showed up on 185.297 around 6PM Wed evening but I did not save that capture....
