Hi All & Gary: Thanks for confirming NPM is active Gary. First time I heard it here this afternoon with the modest HD-1420 converter. I do have Jay's list info---I wanted to know someone else was hearing a MSK sig on 21.4 versus a chance I had some image or spurious signal present. I built up a new 9:1 matching transformer for the HD-1420 input with 4 BN-73-03 cores in-line and 6/2 turns ratio. Previous transformer I was using had 3 bino cores in-line at about 1 dB loss at 20 kHz, so this version seems to be working slightly better although propagation likely matters as well. I need to build a second one though to measure the insertion loss.....
Tnx for the info....73 Mike wa3tts
