Sad new indeed.

Bill's WM was the first lowfer signal that I received ... and is responsible to a large extent for 
cementing my interest in the LF hobby. We became good friends right after I installed one of the 
first 50/50 'Ashlock Loop' transmitting antennas for lowfer beacon VD. If you know Bill, you can 
appreciate the detailed questioning that followed ... especially as I experimented with different 
loop conductors!

Beacon WM is currently on the air and audible in CT. For those that haven't the opportunity to see 
his 1 watt beacon directly please check out his signal on Grabber 1. I'm sure Bill would be pleased 
that it is on the air in his absence.
