Hi Garry,
I did write to Lars Kalland over at SAQ requesting if SAQ would
consider running another special evening broadcast for North
American listeners.

I believe they had pretty good success the last time they did that and even
European listeners had better results over a path of darkness.

Glad to know they were able to sort out the technical problems
they had over Christmas.

Well looks like it's unanimous, nothing of SAQ seen here either. I knew
it was hopeless when I compared my 12-22 kHz sweep with the 1335Z sweep
of G3ZJO (http://g3zjo.bplaced.net/). The ZJO sweep showed very strong
"local" European signals, including SAQ, but seemingly nothing of NWC on
19.8 kHz and NPM on 21.4 kHz, two signals I could copy well. Actually,
upon closer examination NPM was in there but much weaker than the locals
and NWC was probably well under local sideband power. I looked briefly
for the VLF Alpha stations and found all 3 fairly normal in strength.
