Conditions here were poor to the E and S but good W, though spotty. At
the lowfer watering hole, copied visual WM and traces of WMS using ARGO
at QRSS30 around 0500Z. Around 0700Z copied BR sending at 185.294 kHz
weaker than usual. Around that time picked up a new NDB weakly from
Vulcan, AB on 274 kHz: Z5, +380 Hz, 10.3s. Noticed NY on 350 kHz was
unusually strong from Enderby, BC. Tuned through the DGPS band and
decoded MT on 287 kHz, NL on 288 kHz, NM on 291 kHz, UT on 303 kHz, NV
on 312 kHz, MT on 313 kHz, WA on 316 kHz, and CA on 321 kHz. Best catch
of the night was NDB LLD at 1030Z on 353 kHz from Lanai, HI (both
sidebands were in there but USB at +401, 8.43s was best). Right now the
VLF Alpha stations are coming through, but not as strong as they had been.
