Managed to copy all 3 Morse letters from WMS over night. The signal was
detectable over most of the night. Naturally the best copy spanned 2
ARGO captures so I patched together the attachment with W and M. Lower
in frequency is the visual WM in NH. Reception was with an e-probe so
both could show up simultaneously.
Was pleased to decode VX9BDQ on 504 kHz Opera once when I looked. SNR
was weak but it did work. Also connected to Andy's audio streamer and
heard the AM of WF9XIH on 472.5 kHz. Now I know why I've had a tough
time hearing it directly even when the carrier was potent. It was quite
weak.
Left the SDR-IQ tuned to 518 kHz as sunrise neared and decoded a slew of
messages from the San Francisco transmitter. When that finally went QRT
the station in Long Beach decoded too. Was looking "live" at 1140Z
hoping to at least catch a hint of Kodiak, AK but nothing came through.
