There are some shortcuts for home brewing receive-only multicouplers.

Mini-circuits has a number of usable splitters, which could be mounted
inside an Altoids tin with F or BNC sockets on the outside.

The PSC-4-6+ splitter looks like it would be good for LF,down to VLF,
and up to HF, splitting to 4 ports with good port isolation.

The PSC-2-1 and PSC-2-2 look like suitable splitters for people needing
two ports at VLF/LF/MF/HF or LF/MF/HF/VHF, depending on model.
