Yes, I had forgotten about RIC until Steve posted a followup message this 
evening.  That one was 8 mW the first time around, and the path to Minnesota 
was just a smidgen shorter than NC's signal took.  (Later, using another 
mode, the same path was done with a reported 2 mW.)

Do you happen to know the distance from 'RY' to VK-land?  I wish that 
capture was still around...catches like that don't happen every day.  A 
rising sunspot count comes even less often than Christmas. :)
