Back,, I guess it was 2003 ?? a Canadian put a spark rig on 75
for the 100 year celebration
of the transatlantic test
and cdx were good that night. Someone had a signal on that was using ??
A3
mode and it sounded very good and everyone was trying to work him
I made wave files of that and later realized it was false,,But when I
replayed the
files I heard the actual spark signal
and coped A R Y on a QSB peak,,,, which sounded exactly like power line
noise
I believe the guy was heard out 500 miles or so
he got away with it
somewhere I have pictures of his rig and a recording of the partial copy
I hear John but not loud enough to copy it other than CW,, not loud enuf
to hear
any odd sound to the signal
