[Lowfer] Need a High Capacitance Air Variable for receive purposes

For receive antenna peaking on LF... The Higher, the better.. I have a 450 pF out of an old
AM BCB Radio, but it just won't tune much on LF frequencies, so I really need something that
when connecting the sections together, can give as I mentioned 600 to 1000 pF, or higher..

What total capacitance per section are you shooting for?  How many
sections per knob?  Probably easier to wind higher inductance coils.  I
have a few 'NOS' surplus capacitors kicking around somewhere and most
are the standard 365 uufd/section.
