Since XES decoded well on 137 kHz Wolf I tried again to decode TAG on
185.8 kHz. It wasn't pretty but did succeed this time, despite no
copy of NDB LNT on 344 kHz, pretty weak copy of DGPS Cape Ray, NL on 288
kHz, and so-so copy of WD2XSH/38 sending QRSS3 on 495.055 kHz.
Conditions didn't seem all that great E-W but decodes of DGPS #972 in
Miraflores, Panama on 302 kHz and NDB SPP on 387 kHz from San Andres Is.
was pretty strong, indicating good propagation to the South. Went
looking for HSA at the lowfer watering hole around 185.304 kHz but noted
nothing. Traces around .302 kHz might have been from WMS
but I didn't think it was QRV yet.
All in all a nice night for LF monitoring.
