Originally, the plan for tonight called for repeating my PLC survey, but I
was sufficiently intrigued by actual signals when I first started looking a
little before 8 PM that I didn't get around to starting the survey until
after 12:30 AM...and before I got entirely done, the 4-hour battery in my
computer finally ran out of juice after 5-1/2 hours of operation. Attached
are a couple of the results.

MP and XES need no introduction, of course. MP was audible most of the
time, and XES was some of the time, but tended to fade more. Up at 1750
meters, I saw WMS (earlier post), plus SIW at about 185.29945. For a while
during the evening, I could see bits of EAR, but the LW broadcast sidebands
were just too overwhelming. The tilt of the dots and dashes was evident,
but one couldn't actually read characters.

Although WMS was distinctly stronger than SIW before midnight, the latter
gained strength after midnight and the two were nearly equal when I ran
across them in the PLC survey around 1:15 AM. I'd love to have done a new
capture, but at that point the computer was complaining about the battery
level. Well...I've got to go back to the field to complete the survey again
anyway, so there'll be further opportunities!
