[Lowfer] EAR At Last

I really wasn't expecting to be able to listen tonight. We had two
thunderstorms late Thursday, the last one just before sunset. If static
from the receding line of precipitation didn't disrupt things, I figured the
field itself would be too muddy for access. However, for lack of anything
better to do around 11 PM, I went out just to check on things and was
delightfully surprised. (Since we have a chance of storms again Saturday
morning, I considered titling this "EAR Today, Gone Tomorrow," but you'll be
pleased to know I refrained.)
Here's a capture on 188.8308 kHz using 30-sec slow at 2:25 AM CDT.
Nobody was seen at 185.3 tonight. When the deputy sheriff stopped to
investigate about 3:30, I was monitoring EMP on screen, but couldn't copy it
by ear.
Down at 137, MP was blasting in every time I checked, just like it did most
of last month, but was all alone on the screen.
