[Lowfer] MP in the Daytime

I was out at the farm both last night and during the day. At 2:38 AM
CDT/0738 UTC, following the dwindling of lightning static, I completed a
beautifully clean capture of MP before packing up and coming back to town.
When I returned to the farm 12 hours later, the receiver was still set in
the same place, and I immediately started copying MP.

First time around, I only lingered long enough at 137.78 to ascertain that
it was indeed MP, then went to 1750 m and 22 m for quick checks. When I got
back to 138 nearly an hour later, static crashes had resumed, so the later
capture (attached) is not as pretty. But it is still distinctly MP, and the
carrier was even audible at times during brief breaks in QRN. Also, there
is a broken carrier around 137,779.7 (the receiver was off about 0.2 at the
time)--any ideas who or what that signal is?
