[Lowfer] L/c meter for $35 on ebay

I use my AADE meter only for small inductance and capacitance. I use
another cheap meter if higher inductances and capacitances but this is not
very often. I never have had a problem with the AADE if I didn't zero thre
meter before use. I see nothing in their literature warning you to zero
before use other then for calibration. This Chinese meter warns you to zero
the meter or you could/would damage the meter. Big difference.

Bye the way, I don't see this Chinese meter listed for $35. It is sold for
$50 with free shipping or goes out to bid plus shipping on the other
auctions. In short, you most likely are going to pay $50.00 for it with
shipping. I'd rather buy a US product where the company can help you when
you need a part such as a replacement case or other part. I just love my
AADE so much, I would never consider using something else. I use my AADE
almost as much as a volt/ohm meter.

Lee I dont see where that is a problem, I have to zero the AADE
meter(leads open on cap function, shorted on inductance) each time I use
the meter to get an accurate reading. The AADE meter may be damaged if
connected to a cap with a charge.
