Hi all:

I've been busy all day, and just getting around to the computer here
at work to reply to reports..
Thanks to Laurence, and Garry for your reports from last night; and
to Garry for another capture.. I had a little software issue going on
last night Garry, and I saw the peculiar frequency " dips " in my own
monitoring too. With warmer temps overnight here, the heat didn't come
on as often, allowing the frequency to be a bit more stable.
I continue to be pleasingly surprised with the performance of SMT-HELL.
At the current symbol/second transmission rate ( .02 sym/sec ), the
signal looks very strong. I don't know how to compare it to a QRSS speed,
but personally, I think it is better than QRSS-30, and close to QRSS-60.
And Laurence saw it for the first time, and his noise level has been
very high according to his reports. So each incremental slow down of
the character rate has made a difference on the receiving end.
There is probably no correlation between the two, but just for the sake
of mentioning it: In QRSS-60; the " XR~ " would take 34 minutes to
complete, and restart. The SMT-HELL at a character rate of .02 sym/sec,
takes 42 minutes, +/- some seconds to complete, and restart.

73 to everyone:
