Good day lowFERs:

Thanks for the WSPR reports.. I'm going to let it run thru the day.
The setup does very well in WSPR mode since it handles drift issues.
I saw Lloyd - W3NF looking for a short time last night, be no decodes
on his end.. Garry - K3SIW mentions " see-able " traces in the WSPR
waterfall with not decodes... I have noticed the same situation here
many times.. A signal trace that should easily decode, but dosen't..
My only thought would be is that something corrupts the data during
receive to the point that WSPR can't decode it, and it could be from
just about any form of interference I suppose..
I chose the frequency last night from receiving on my end.. I carefully
tuned between 183 KHz and 189 KHz, and found 184.200 KHz to have the
least " hearable " noise at this QTH.. Of course, that might not have
been the case anywhere else..

Rick; Thanks for your report, and spots to WSPRnet.. It looks like a
50% reception rate while you were listening. I am transmitting at 50%,
so approximately every other 2 minute period, WSPR transmits. But the
software does " mix it up " a little to. So, with about 15 transmissions
per hour, and you were getting about 7 of them; that's a 50% success
rate.. AND, all of them are very weak at -26dB SNR or lower, so !!
Very Good OM !!! The RYCOM possibly does better than you think ??

OK; I'm taking my Sweetheart out for dinner today, and looking forward
to an enjoyable few minutes away from all the usual daily drama..

73 to all, and have a marvelous day:
