Thanks for the further sharing. There have been some real metering
disasters up here on 900Mhz. Glad to hear yours wasn't one.
It is my very limited understand that PLC devices in Canada require
Industry Canada certification. Domestic devices like X10 can be
certified but the none residential devices like smart meters can't
because there isn't a standard (yet!?). Ie. they can't legally import,
sell, use etc.
I hope they fix the problems for you.
