Yep the X and general blips around 298 are mine - playing with the exciter and matching given the -33C temps here this morning - loads more current!

Eric and Jay, got another decode of UWL here over night around 0700Z. 
That's not far off the time indicated in Jay's capture (0745Z at end 
versus 0722Z for mine). Interestingly, didn't see anything of WMS nor 
did I notice it on Jay's capture. Perhaps the wintry weather is to blame 
for that. Also, EMP was on 185.545 kHz and weak.

Earlier in the evening I saw a solid "X" on 185.2976 kHz QRSS60. I 
assume that was XDW since Laurence has operated around there in the 
past, albeit with DFCW. It was followed by two more X's then was gone.
