Hi Todd
Have a look at the Yahoo VLF_Group. There was a strong 15.1 KHz signal back
in December 2010 which was DF'd to France. Also, 15.1 KHz is on some old VLF
lists as being French!

Also, have a look at Peter's spectrograms at http://www.df3lp.de/

WOW!
Here in Hawarden, Flintshire, north Wales, UK. The signal on 15.1 KHz is at
same strength as Anthorn 19.6 KHz. Skelton 22.1 KHz is on-air at normal
strength.
Cheers!

Hi Clive and Jay,
I just took a look at 15.1 KHz and the signal is narrow-shift RTTY right
now at
1930UTC. Signal strength is about what I would expect from TACAMO S-9 +10
dB
or better. Anthorn 19.6 is at normal weak daytime level here, about S-4 in
SE USA.
Perhaps TACAMO is running a daytime test airborne over the Atlantic? That
would
explain the strong signal in the Eastern USA and UK also. We know TACAMO
has been
doing a lot of testing the past few weeks.
