Thanks for the report on SIW Andy. Didn't do nearly as well here. Since
you reported good conditions recently and since I haven't tried to
decode TAG since Spring, I started the evening with Wolf tuned for 185.8
kHz. Through about 0400Z I didn't get any decodes but on two sequences
the software did lock onto the correct frequency. Think just a bit more
SNR will yield decodes. I looked briefly at the watering hole but only
saw SIW. However, WEB was coming in great, as usual. Shows what a really
good lowfer beacon can do! Ended up on 495 kHz monitoring WD2XSH/6 and
/7. They were both very strong, but nonetheless as local sunrise came
they faded quickly into my noise floor.
