I hope they give out experimental licenses first. This way a few hard
working experimenters will be able to actually use the band .Once it becomes
a ham band ,Kenwood, Icom and Yeasu will sell a rig with the band along
with a super duper auto tuner that will tune a raingutter down to a perfect
1:1 swr. Then the ARRL ,CQ magazine and every other contest sponsor will set
up contests every weekend and the band will be unusable ; just like the all
the other bands are now on the weekend.
If one more guy interrupts my cq on cw to tell me " hey buddy dont you know
theres a contest goin on?" Im gonna lose it.
Well ; at least we still have1750 mtrs; for now1
