Well part of the email didn't come thru. The email just froze up.
I had asked if anyone has any theory, OR Experience with using
the angled wires from the outer tip of the top hat, down to the
vertical mast?? I would appreciate any comments on that.
I will be trying to raise the antenna back into the air later today,
but while it's on the ground, nows the time to add the angled wires,
and then raise it back up...
Thanks so much for all the reception reports, I appreciate them.
On the sunrise sudden drop out of the signal, I think it has something
to do with the radiation characteristics of this particular antenna.
I have no way to prove that with theory, but wondering if very low
angles of radiation disappear quickly at sunrise, and appear quickly
at sunset ?? On the Night time bands of course.
