[Lowfer] Matching coil

Gentlemen, I ask for advice once again. I know I ask lots of questions,
and may re-ask some; so thank you kindly for your patience. Before I
start to un-wind / re-wind the Variometer matching coil in the shack;
I could use any pointers, experience, etc. I am using an elevated
loading coil on the antenna mast. The value is around 2.3 MilliHenries.
My inside coil / Variometer had a value of 2.33 MilliHenries for the
previous antenna, but this dosen't appear to be enough. I needed 2.44
MilliHenries to be able to peak the RF current.. I thought, and
maybe wrongly, that I would need much less Inductance on the inside
coil. All things considered though; an elevated loading coil which will
need more Inductance anyway. Plus the top hat on the new Vertical is a
10 foot square, and the old antenna was a Spider web with 13 radials in
a 180 degree pattern, and each radial was 14 feet long. The old top hat
was 30 feet AGL, and the new on is 40 feet AGL. Now for the questions;
with the elevated coil ( 2.32 mH ) , and the inside coil ( 2.44 mH ),
they add up to 4.76 mH ...

Does this value sound unreasonably high ??

Is it possible that I might be tuning a harmonic ??
and how would I know if I were ??

Thanks so much for any input as I learn the characteristics of the
new lowFER antenna... Never tried this type of design before.
