Recently a noise has appeared on 2200 meters that I wonder if the source
may be a new plasma tv in the area. The primary signal I receive that
generates noise over the 2200 meter band is about 125 kHz. The noise
extends up to about 138 kHz. I've heard that plasma televisions
generate a lot of broad band noise so this may be coming from another
source, maybe a switching power supply? My nearest neighbor is about
800 feet away but I've heard the sets can be heard over a mile away.
Retailers appear to be dumping plasma sets which makes me paranoid.
I've eliminated my house as being the source of this noise.
