I found F to 1/8 inch adapter and hooked my G5 up to a Pa0rdt mini whip. 40 cw sounds as good as my Kenwood TS50. I can hear some beacons better than on TS50 down on the 200 to 400 khz range. I will check out 500 khz later tonight.

Great little cw rec. Selectivity not published but appears to be about 4 to 5 khz on narrow. It of course is not selectable sideband  but with variable bfo you can move around, SSB easily copied with a bit of practice.
