I find this to be a wonderful idea to let people actually see the equipment
that we work with .

I wish Paul , Mike and any others a HUGE success in garnering more interest
in stations for both receiving and interested in building beacons .

Paul has also suggested that we add the www.lwca.org and
www.yahoogroups.com/part15
URL's to our personal business cards to help spread the word . I am going to
add them to my business cards .

I also usually try to put the information on my LowFER beacon , in my
"signature" , when I post to other groups , QRP , Glowbugs , and many more .

We need to all be creative in promoting these activities , in the hopes that
we can attract as many new people to join us as possible .

I am certainly ALWAYS open to ways to promote our hobby , in hopes that we
can gain people and perhaps attract the attention of a major Amateur Radio
Organization or Radio Magazine of doing more stories on especially part15
work and also part 5 . It would be nice if they would even consider a
monthly column to report activity and new designs and modes .

It doesn't have to be anything large , but it would be nice to see it
recognized as a wonderful , dedicated group of researchers and good old
fashioned builders , on a monthly basis .

The newly available LWCA forum is an excellent medium that is widely
recognized and read all over the world , so we should all devote some of our
time to contributing , articles , pictures and designs to this well
established site .

EVERYONE , should become involved in this endeavor , even if it is just a
picture of your system or a brief description of the equipment that you are
building and using .

73 ,

Charlie , W5COV
