Perhaps as early as the very late 1980's, certainly by the early 90's, a
company had a gimmick, a small 11m receiver, about 2/3 the size of a pack of
smokes, watertight, blue anodized aluminum case, on-off switch, volume
control and earphone. The case had a stainless steel belt clip and the top
was white or gray plastic with a water-tight seal. The item was intended to
be a receiver for swimmers, the coach, pool-side, could talk to the swimmers
one-way. I don't recall the exact frequency of the system, 27.xxx, most
likely different frequencies were available.

All Electronics on Vermont Ave, in Los Angeles sold bits and pieces of this
system sometime around 1992-1994. I had purchased one receiver with the
intent or purchasing more, scrapped the unit I had, never bought others.

What I'm looking for: Name of the product, the maufacturer, photos or ads
if available, with a little luck some of the actual product in hand and
ultimately, if possible, a complete system!

By any chance does one of you have some old All Electronics catalogs from
the 92-94 time frame with an ad for these units?

Let me know what you have in part, whole, info, if for sale, asking price
for any portion.

Thanks,

Kurt
