Only on for a short time - off now. Wide, 'high speed' data. NAA class
signal level. 24 kHz on air
at the same time. First time I've seen a signal on this frequency. Anyone
have info?

Hi Jay,
I have heard that signal before several times. I think it is related to
TACAMO
(Take Charge And Move Out). It may be a test of the airborne TACAMO
system,
which uses an aircraft with trailing wire antenna on VLF. 17.9KHz is TACAMO
"Channel One." It is an extremely strong signal here in the U.S.
