We need some one with mechanical engineering background to explain the
ammount of water in
the air. A change in temp results in a change in the rel humidity and
the volume of water. I suspect the change in antenna current day to
night and with temp change is due to the dielectric constant of the air
which is the capacitive component of the antenna. Recent single digit
temps here produced very low humidiy, far below what we usually have. I
had a reduction in ant current that returned to normal when
weather warmed up. that would be a project for some one to chart the
rel humidiy, volume of water in the air, temp and antenna current. I
dont have any reference books on humidiy and the tables for determining
the volume of water in the air.
