Hi Mike:
I got the link to the transverter, thanks for that. I happen to
have the radio shack isolation transformer on hand. It's 600 Ohm
in and out. That raises a thought for me; I'm running audio from
the headphone jack on the radio which is high impedance ( 10K ? )
into the vectronics audio filter; 8 Ohms in & out, then into the
MIC input of the soundcard ( 600 Ohm ), I hadn't thought about that
until now; but I've got some pretty bad mis-match in just my audio
line alone. Tonite; I'm going to install a PCI video card just to
see if it will make any difference, and try to do some better
matching in my audio line too. Maybe I can make some improvements.
