hi hi...No doubt. It's a weird one for sure. I have been putting up with
it forever. I am guessing something to do with the trees. The transition
from non-frozen ground to frozen ground is dramatic here too. The
transition temp of 32F is night verses day on 1750 meters. Not so much
on 600 meters. Haven't tried 2200 meters but will do so when the Loran
stations go bye bye.
