Good to see clear signals last night on 500 and lowfer freqs - though I appear to have a large luminous squiggle on 185.3 which needs eliminating.

Im in a small old hotel in the centre of town and just pushed the fishing pole a couple of feet outside with the PA0RDT pole attached. 

Luckily the window frame is metal and bonded to the structure so earthing the coax is eliminating all the internal to room noise down. 

The probe is located on the South side of the building and screened W  thru N to E but still seeing signals not too bad.
