Paul...sorry for the late reply...I've been busy with some house chores and 
the CW test.  Yes the RX320D is computer
controlled via the Serial port. It is not an SDR receiver....that will be my 
next project.  The RX320 Mod works well and
I will leave it in place on the receiver.  The thing that surprised me was 
the increase in sensitivity that I see below  100 khz.
Couldn't copy WWVB well before the modification but now it booms in loud and 
clear at 60 khz. I can also copy the military MSK  stations below 60 khz 
down to 20 khz.  I use N4PY's pegasus software to control the RX320 and it 
does
allow you to tune all the way down to 10-20 khz with the software.
