That was WD2XES, and it will be back on Tuesday evening, as I have to be out tonight. The dial frequency was 136.000, and the actual transmit frequency was 137.450 kHz. Will advise in a Tuesday afternoon posting.

Part of the experiment was to see if anything improved with the U.S. Loran-C shutdown today. I've never done well with WSPR at 137 kHz, and am not sure if that is due to the general crud level and/or the Loran interference. 

The xmit loop at WD2XES is not optimally oriented for you, but that hasn't prevented numerous earlier receptions in other modes. As far as Todd in NC goes, the signal should be no more than 1 dB down from maximum, and I've had numerous QSO's and reports from Dex over the years.
