[Lowfer] Cable Modem Noise

I concur with your supposition that the cable modem noise is
from the main cable line feeding your home. I have the same noise emanating from the cable distribution box at my rear property line. It is a pulsating noise, very strong between 13
to 21 MHZ. I have a Titan vertical about 25 feet from the buried line and distribution box. I chased it down with a transistor radio. I havn't contacted the cable folks yet,but, I imagine I have a snowballs chance in **** of getting it remeadiated. The noise is pulsating and throws a snow line
across the psk31 screen every 3 to 8 seconds...not enough to
preclude copying data but an obvous pesky problem non the less. This noise started last year mid summer after the cable
folks did some upgrades.
