Garry: Thanks for looking, AND mentioning that you did !! I of
course had no knowledge of who may have been looking for the signal.
It has been spoken that some testing in the UK has shown that ROS
will decode up to -3dB lower into the noise than WSPR. I have no way
of proving, or dis-proving that. ROS is just another of many interesting
digimodes out there, but can't be used below 222 MHz in the US.
I just thought it might be fun to experiment with on 1750 meters, as
well as give something different to look for.. I ran ROS from 4:30pm
on Christmas day, until 12:30 pm on Sun. the 26th.. After getting no
responses at all, I shut the beacon down and ran some WSPR on 160 meters.
