OK, you can reel me in. Anything is possible.
As I ponder DSP phase cancellation techniques.
All arcing/sparking phase relationships would be utility frequency related.
AND the same frequency. Any range gate type of limiting would suppress
any other
local sources and maybe more distant sources would appear.
But since this HP device was vintage '60s, any significant DSP
techniques would
be racks of processing equipment. The batteries would not last long..
OK, you can reel this fish in..

OH, you meant an evaporating phasor gun...... not phasing techniques....
