Have you ever watched " Gallagher " and his wonderful watermelon 
demonstration of the marvelous kitchen utensil "The Sledge-O-Matic"??

That's pretty much what's happening to the super strong local signal
when you apply the Limiter/Clipper ( Sledge-O-Matic ) to it... :~D
