[Lowfer] Clipper

Hello Lowfers,

My wife gave me a pre-Chistmas gift of a ROUND TUIT to keep me from shaking and x-raying the gifts under the tree.
The first thing I did with the TUIT was to make up a resistor-diode pair limiter/clipper circuit and I installed it on the
input of my DSP-59+ which was being over-driven by some signals, causing the overload LED to light. If I turned
down the gain of the RX I started losing weaker stations. The addition of the limiter/clipper seems to have solved
the problem with one exception. My local Navtex station is about 100 miles from my QTH and just thunders in as
would be expected. Since adding the limiter/clipper I don't get decodes of it, and I'm thinking that the signal must
be getting trashed by the limiter/clipper. It has made for much improved decodes on all other signals that I've had
a chance to try receiving since installing it, including WSPR.
