Chris,
In addition to Jay's remarks, also remember that some of this high-power
LF transmitting is weather-dependent. It was stormy here in the
northeast for the last two days. The high winds swinging my loop in and
out of tune kept me from a Sunday night CW sked with Jay. Also, rain or
snow has caused issues with tuning and arcing for some of us, limiting
one's desire to run the stuff unless we are watching it closely. As one
who has thrown snowballs at a PVC fire, I speak from experience!
