I agree that it should be better stated and earlier than at the checkout .

Thanks to all of the posts , I was able to find the parts that I needed and 
ordered them yesterday . So I will even have a few spares on hand and after 
reading more of the postings , the toroid that I added to my list to keep on 
hand ended up coming to more than what their minimum would have been , if I 
had ordered through them .
