[Lowfer] WSPR attempt and WM-MW-SIW in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Well the WMMW's are now at a respectable distance from each other ... like
about .75 Hz. I never thought that I'd be talking about specs like this 30
years ago! It's kinda like when I was in Polaris Electronics "A" school in
the Navy back in 67. The instructor was talking about capacitance and how
it's measured. It was always in fractional Farads (Micro Farads, Pico
Farads) ... there would never be a full Farad capacitor because it would be
as big as the room we were in.

Dick,

Thanks again for posting another Watering Hole shot. Talk about frequency
stability! We're looking at some super-tight numbers for those three signals
to maintain their relative positions for so long. I don't know what SIW is
using as a signal source but my exciter uses 50 cent microprocessor-type
Xtals, and the temp out in the breezeway where WM Andover's exciter is
located must have dropped 20F over the last few days.

Sorry to end the fun, but the WMWM signal, AKA "The battling WMs", ended
early this morning when I raised the freq of WM Andover about 3/4ths of a
Hz..... so please send another screen shoot when convenient so I can see if
the separation is where it should be. I'll have to warn JD that another
confusing frequency change message is headed his way :)
