Hi.
I happen to have a small archive of 73 from the nineties. I found the
article. It's not about the EXP1750A, but other information is
interesting. I found the article in the QST archive, too. It's also
quite interesting.
I found some background information a while ago by using the internet
archive. It had Mr. Curry's website when he was selling the EXP1750a.
It looks very different from what I have. Mine has a different
enclosure- but it looks professional. Here's a link to that page:

I'll stand by, I suspect someone out there may have one of these and
can share a copy of their manual with me. I'd like to get some info
before I fire it up.
