[Lowfer] looking for information on EXP1750A

Greetings:

I've been lurking on this reflector for a year or more. I enjoy
reading the conversations and following up on information presented
here. I hope to put up a beacon at some point (perhaps this winter).
For now, I'm concentrating on listening. I live in St. Paul, Minnesota
(EN34kw) and mainly concentrate my ham radio time on VHF-UHF weak
signal stuff. Maybe I like being on the periphery.

I am looking for information on the EXP1750A transceiver. Anything
such as manuals, photos or descriptions of others implementations with
this or a similar radio. I've looked all over the net, and not found
much. I've not contacted Mr. Curry directly yet, as I don't have an
email for him.

Further, I have a question related to this radio: I understand it
makes .5-20W output. If I understand correctly, the FCC requires less
than 1W input, how have others with similar transceivers ensured that
they are within the rules? Where is the input measured on such a
device? At the 12V power supply?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Andy K0AJL
