Hi Garry;

Well thanks for looking. It dosen't matter how many times I get
a report from someone, because it's always exciting. Your report
is consistent with what I have found in my receptions; signals
seem to pop-up between 2am to right at local sunrise. I have also
noticed many times the little " propagation bump " that occurs
right at dawn. For a short period, say 15 to 30 minutes, steady
nightime signals will increas in strength markedly at dawn, just
before taking a plunge. I wonder if you have ever noticed that ??
There may not be such a term as LF Greyline Enhancement, but that
is what it reminds me of.

The 8 extra top-hat wires I added over the weekend, I miscalculated
and cut everyone of them about 2 feet too long, so I have 8 wires
in a " swag-ing " position, which I know affects the capacitance
of the top-hat, and the ant. performance too. My FS reading has
actually dropped a slight bit after adding the extra top-hat wires.
I'm going to try to climb up and shorten those wires, and see if it
brings the FS back up. From what I have read about top-hats, you
can add wires to the point that it dosen't help with effective
height, and then the top-hat wires will begin to lower " Rar "
which is not a desired effect. I suppose this is all a part of the
fun in experimenting down here in the sub-basement frequencies.

73 for now and good listening :::
