This has indeed been a very interesting topic.

Where can I learn the exact rules of what is allowed power and antenna 
wise on both types of transmissions,  AM  in the AM broadcast band,  and 
FM  in the FM broadcast band.

Powers,, antennas  etc.

Going to the legal limit on both types, I wonder what would give the 
largest radius of coverage.
