[Lowfer] 1750 meter frequency for Part 5?

I have long been a proponent of 187.5 because of the simplicity of
obtaining that freq. the report
captures I have received show litttle interference at 187.492 +/- 3hz.
I have only fixed caps in my beacon but with a little tweaking I could
zero in on 187.5.

It wouldn't bother me in the least if Warren put the part 5 on 187.5.
Besides I dont think he would run it 24/7. None of the 137 guys were on
24/7 were they?

I think there were others on 187.5 in the past. And a couple of beacon
transmitters like the LF engineering 1750 meter rig came with 187.5
xtals.

I have tried narrow bandwidth on Argo with little success. I have rec
with capability of 50 hz bandwidth, but I seem to do alright with 2 to
3 khz. some where I read Argo doesnt like anything below 400hz.

What ever watering hole we pick lets keep in mind the attraction to
newcomers of a simple way to get on.
