[Lowfer] 1750 meter frequency for Part 5?

Ralph and others,

Why not the old standard: 185.3 and QRSS 30?

I was wondering, however, what the conditions look like these days at 187.5 ? Back in the good old days when I zeroed in on 185.3 there was quite a lot of extraneous stuff at or near 187.5. This was a common division of many computer Xtals so this could have been the problem - but maybe not any more. This freq would simplify the design of the exciter because a simple 2^n divider could be used. Would even give Warren more latitude for high power sending. I'll do some sleuthing but would appreciate if some of the other listeners out there would do the same.
